While knowing when your orders came in is important, ShipHero prioritizes orders and guides pickers to fetch orders that are:

  • Prioritized by Required Ship Date (this is more important for a customer than when they placed the order).
  • Other orders that have products in the same locations as the prioritized by Required Ship Date orders (ShipHero also calculates the most efficient methods for Orders to be picked).

Tip: If at the end of the day, your dashboard indiciates remaining orders that require shipping, use the bulk manage feature and assign a custom status to those remaining orders, which enables your team to quickly identify and ship those orders.

Alternately, you can also use the order queue, which goes strictly by oldest order by required ship day first.
