For Single & Multi-Batch Picking

  • iPad generation 3 or greater.

For Single Item Batch Picking

  • iPhone generation 6 or greater.
  • iPod Touch generation 4 or greater.

Print Station

This allows you to connect your printers and scales. You can use both PC or a Mac. ShipHero suggests the minimum requirements:


  • Microsoft Windows 10 operating system
  • 4GB memory
  • 1.7GHz or faster CPU
  • 512MB available storage


  • OSX Version 10.11 "El Capitan" or greater operating system
  • 4GB memory
  • 1.4GHz or faster CPU
  • 512MB available storage


  • Labels - Dymo 4XL (Available on Amazon)
  • Invoices - any standard laser printer will work.
  • Barcodes (optional if you want to print barcode labels) - the most popular one is the Dymo 450, but any label printer will work.


We recommend Mettler Toledo and Dymo m25.

Barcode Scanner

There are a few options to scan barcodes. We do not recommend using the iPhone Camera because it is slow and requires good lighting in order to work.

  • Wireless Bluetooth - if you're using a mobile device around the warehouse, we strongly recommend a wireless scanner. We currently integrate with Socket Mobile Scanners specifically, the 7Ci, 7Pi, 800 series and 700 series. The 7CI is a popular one for the iPad and the 8Ci for the iPod/iPhone. Available on Amazon.
  • USB Scanner - most USB scanners can be used with the desktop app. We recommend this simple scanner with stand available on Amazon.
