Why Can't I add a Product to a Purchase Order?

Confirm that your product has a vendor assigned to it.

If you are trying to add a product to a Purchase Order by searching for it and it is not showing up, make sure your product has a vendor assigned to it. 

How to Add a Vendor:
  • Edit the product on the product details page
  • Review the available vendors 
  • Select the vendor
How to Create a Vendor:
  • Using the top menu, click Inventory, then click Vendors
  • Click Add A Vendor

Confirm that your product has a reorder value greater than zero.

If you are trying to add a product to a Purchase Order by using the Auto Add feature and the product does not get added, verify that the product has a reorder value greater than 0 in the product details page.
